INSPAN Board Meeting, March 9, 2024

Hello fellow INSPAN Members and Followers,

I want to give you an update on the happenings with INSPAN!

March 9th we had our 2nd Quarter Board of Directors meeting in person in Indianapolis.  It was available Virtual as well and we will continue to make these meeting available Virtual as our membership is scattered throughout the state.  We certainly would like to make involvement with INSPAN more manageable.  For those of you that missed it, this information may be helpful to.

Upcoming events:

1) National Conference in Orlando is coming up rapidly!   This includes the Representative Assembly to elect our future leaders of ASPAN.  Please Visit the ASPAN site on Nursing Network to review candidate profiles and indicate your candidate preference.

2) We are in the process of developing a INSPAN Fall Education!  The current tentative date will be September 28th.  We are leaning to a total Virtual Event but these details are not firmed up at this time.  Please stay tuned for more information on this.

3) Indiana is broken down into 4 Chapters currently.  The Chapters are:

Central Chapter, Northcentral Chapter, Southwest Chapter, and Northwest Chapter.

Any of our current membership that has an interest in becoming involved in a Chapter Leadership role, please do not hesitate to speak up.  

4) The opportunities are endless to become involved!  The organization is comprised of many Committees as well.  Be sure to look at our website in detail to find the various committees that you could become involved with. 

As we really get moving into this 2024 year.  It is my pleasure to serve as President of INSPAN.  The Indiana Component is growing again in this post-covid era and we are all looking forward to what the future will bring.  

There are so many resources for you to utilize on the ASPAN and INSPAN websites!  I want you to know that we are here for YOU!
